Art Show Entry Forms



  • All works must be for sale

  • All exhibitions are open to all types of media

  • All works entered must be original creations by the artist.

  • Entry into an exhibit is not guaranteed and number and size of works may be limited based on the nature of the exhibition

  • Locals Art Space has the right to deny the submissions with no refunds if you the work you deliver is not true to your digital submissions, is below our professional standards, or is not display ready


  • To enter, fill out the entry form and submit a clear image for each entry. The image can be a jpeg, png, or tiff. To resize your image, open it in an image processing program and change the dimensions to between 800–1200 pixels on the largest side.  Do NOT submit thumbnails (less than 800×800 pixels).  Minimum resolution should be set to 72dpi. File size should be less than 1mb. If you need assistance with this requirement, please contact us for support.

  • Name the file using the following format: lastname_firstname_medium_title

  • EMAIL your image(s) to

  • Locals Art Space Members: $10 per entry

  • Non-members: $15 per entry 

  • Membership may be purchased or renewed at checkout. 

  • All entry fees are non-refundable and payment must be received before entries are processed.


  • All work must be hand-delivered to Locals Art Space at 408 Main Street, Asbury Park, NJ 00712.  The Locals Art Space is not equipped at this time to receive or return works shipped via USPS or delivery services.

  • All two-dimensional works must be wired for hanging: no saw tooth hangers, cleats, string, or tape are permitted.

  • There is a maximum of 20 lbs weight for work intended to be hung.

  • Three-dimensional work can be freestanding or displayed on a pedestal.  If a special pedestal size is needed, the artist must supply it. All three-dimensional works must be able to be lifted by one person.


  • All artists must retrieve their own works from Locals Art Space by the show close date.

  • If you are unable to retrieve your work during the allotted time, you must make arrangements for someone else to pick it up. 

  • Work left beyond two weeks after the scheduled pick-up date will be considered abandoned. Abandoned work will become the property of Locals Art Space and will be sold to benefit Locals Art Space.


Art sold is subject to a 30% commission fee for members and 35% for non-members.  Sales tax will be added to the price of work sold.  Remittance of New Jersey Sales Tax will be handled by Locals Art Space.  All artists with sales commissions of $600 or more per calendar year are required to furnish their SS# or Tax ID# to Locals Art Space.  A 1099-MISC for taxable income will be issued by Locals Art Space for sales commissions of $600 or higher.  Commissions are paid at the close of the show.


Locals Art Space will make every effort to treat your artwork with care.  However, work is submitted at the artist’s risk. Locals Art Space and its members will not be held liable for lost or damaged work.  Artists are responsible for insuring their work from delivery to pick-up.


Locals Art Space reserves the right to use digital images of exhibited artworks for the sole purpose of promotion of this exhibit and Locals Art Space on social media, websites, and advertising. Artists are responsible for watermarking their images if they wish to do so. Locals Art Space will not share images of minors without express prior consent from a parent or guardian.
